INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO:
Accessing Your Meeting
The instructional video is an on-demand media source used to summarize key part of training for participants unable to attend 'Virtual Training Workshop.'

The video blends easy-to-follow language and animation features such as pan, zoom, and text callouts to keep viewers' attention.
Audience: Participants with moderate to low computer proficiency and conversational to fluent English speaking skills
Responsibility: Script writing, voice
Tools Used: Camtasia, Photoshop
Problem & Solution
Due to the pandemic, several participants were unable to attend the 'Virtual Training Workshop' at the same time. There were scheduled workshops with small groups of participants attending each session, but some participants were still not being reached due to quarantine restrictions.

Therefore, we created a comprehensive, portable video demonstrating key features taught in the workshop. It could be used on computers, tablets, and phones. Participants decided when they could watched the video and used it as a quick refresher before conducting meetings.
Process
Writing Script
I read through the Virtual Training Workshop slide deck to summarize the key parts of the presentation. I used Excel to organize my writing. Once I had a writing mock-up, I met with curriculum SMEs for review. Once they approved the material, I edited and wrote the final script. Now, it's time for voice over.

Normally, senior personnel would direct a team member to do this part. However, I ended up doing the voice over and adding animations since the project needed to be completed quickly.

Creating Intro/Outro
I wanted to connect the instructional video with training so I created an intro and outro using Photoshop. I slightly altered the graphic logo and color scheme as seen in the workshop.
The video title is different because it targets the specific purpose which is for participants to easily watch it as a quick, just-in-time resource.
